A heavy silver dress fitting, comprising openwork trefoil head made of heavy silver wire with flower head, gilt, soldered at centre; on the back, remains of silver wire (broken) soldered to centre. No sign of rectangular bar attachment, but this appears to be an early kind of dress fitting which can be compared with two others so far reported through the Treasure Act: see TAR 2005-6 nos. 695-6. As such, due to its age and precious metal content, this object qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996. Dr Dora Thornton, The British Museum

The lower element made from re-used metal, though The British Museum Department of Coins and Medals do not think this to be a coin re-used. Coarse coiled silver-coloured ring of quadrangular section, widening in the middle and tapering at the end with small finials. This puzzling object is undiagnostic, as it is too coarse for an earring and too small for a nosering for an animal. Analysis results reveal that is made of 97% silver. I find it hard to place or date and would suggest that it is likely to be of fairly recent manufacture.

Fragment of a devotional plaque A fragment of a double-sided plaque, cast on one side with a possible Madonna and child, and on the other a scene with three saints. The item is possibly a Catholic devotional token, not necessarily English in origin, judging by the Madonna figure's veil and cloak. The plaque has three surviving projecting knops.
