Small gilded silver hooked tag comprising central book-shaped section with seven projecting knops, and foliate finial at the top covering the base of the recurving hook soldered onto the backplate; also on the backplate a soldered rectangular bar attachment. A silver fob seal, fluted handle terminating in a single attachment loop. The die engraved with a shield, mantling and crest of a griffin passant. The shield engraved with a central lateral bend with three flower heads on it, and two birds above and two below. These arms unidentified. 17th Century. As such, due to its age and precious metal content, this object qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

Cast silver medal with decorative scrolled border pierced top and bottom for attachment to clothing. Double-sided: on the obverse a profile bust of Charles I , and with his consort, Henrietta Maria, on the reverse. The portrait types are well-known from Medallic Illustrations, I, p. 357, 223. Presumably made for a Royalist supporter in the Civil War or Interregnum. CURATOR'S REPORT A Post Medieval silver incomplete mount probably dating to the 16th century. Description Silver decorative mount, two vegetal scrolls with two small holes for attachment within the design. Back flat and tooled. Left side slightly damaged and possibly other elements missing. Probably 16th Century, and part of a larger artefact, such as a dagger chape, or perhaps as it is, a mount for a leather or textile belt. As such, due to its age and precious metal content, this object qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

A silver object possibly a weight. The object is made from sheet metal, cut to form a pointed silver oval. There is no decoration nor maker's marks. Curators report: Silver oval artefact, made from thin sheet, flat. Undecorated and no sign of fixtures for fastening. Possibly a weight to be sewn into clothing, but impossible to date. Dr Dora Thornton, Curator of Renaissance Collections Dimensions: length: 19.80mm; width: 21.53mm; thickness: 0.38mm; weight: 0.48g.

Treasure case: 2005 T396 A Silver Terminal (?) Silver cast terminal (?), hollow with cable ornament scrolling up from lower opening and round into two projecting spirals, with a boss at the centre of each. Length: 2 cm. Weight 10.7g Analysis shows the object comprises an alloy with a silver content of 95-97% and copper content of 3-5%, with traces of lead and gold present.
