A post-medieval silver thimble of late 17th-century date, and of a common type frequently reported through the Treasure Act. The dome is missing (?). The object is made from thin silver sheet joined at one edge (now detached) decorated with regular waffle-shaped indentations and cruciform pattern in reserve, initial 'G' at edge.
