One element from a hollow silver cufflink, made from thin and now fragmentary sheet. The front is stamped with a portrait bust apparently of Charles II, crowned, within a beaded border. The separate back has the remains of a maker's mark, possibly a TS in a shaped shield above a star. Given the possible identity of the bust, the object can be tentatively dated to 1660-1685.

A silver disc with turned down edge and shank soldered on the reverse, stamped on the front with a flaming heart bisected by two arrows with drops of blood dripping from the heart. Edge broken away in one area. The fragility of the shank may indicate that this is part of a pair of cufflinks rather than a button; although the size suggests a button rather than a cufflink. A Post Medieval - Modern silver cufflink (18th century). The cufflink comprises two octagonal discs with a loop on each reverse and an interconnecting oval link securing the two discs. Each of the discs has a concave reverse and the front surface is decorated with an engraved pattern. The pattern has a central motif of a six pointed star burst of radiating lines within a scalloped border. There is no maker's mark visible on the link. One half of a pair of post-medieval silver cuff links: a set for one cuff consisting of two elements with soldered loops connected by a rectangular link with rounded ends (18th century AD). Both elements are oval in plan and plano-convex in profile (12.8 by 9.7 by 8.9mm (including loop)). At the centre of the flat lower surface a thick wire loop has been soldered in place. Solid cast silver sleeve button or cufflink, comprising two discs held by the central shank, the uppermost disc stamped with two hearts beneath a single crown. The hearts are on a speckled background and just touch each other. The crowned hearts are a device associated with the marriage of Charles II and Catherine of Braganza in 1662. A similar button was found in Virginia, USA in the 1960s and published in Noel Hume 1969, fig.22. This object was found in February 2001 and has been acquired by the British Museum, acquisition number: 2002,0711.1

A gold cufflink, one, of a pair of cufflinks, of eighteenth or nineteenth century date, AD 1750 - 1900. The frames of both discs or elements and the linking strip survive.
