Early Medieval? copper alloy brooch fragment, 32mm long, 15mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brownish patina and weighs 13.10grams. It is sub rectangular in form and section and is broken at both ends. It appears to form an animal head like those which appear on early Medieval brooches. It has a rounded upper edge with a flat top and a triangular sectioned 'snout' which terminates with a flat edge.

Early medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch fragment, 19mm long, 8mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 2.17grams. The object consists of the upper part of the brooch and has a small rectangular head plate with a single knop on its upper edge. The sides are missing but the head plate has traces of the bow emerging from its base. The reverse has a circular lug which is corroded with iron.

The object consists of a flat cruciform plate which has four flat outer edges. At least one of these has an irregular broken edge, which suggests the object was originally part of a larger object. each 'arm' of the object is joined to the next with a pronounced curve (the object looks like a rectangle with four incomplete circles removed from it to form a cross). The object is rectangular in form and section which narrows towards one end and has a rounded upper surface. It is decorated with two or three raised bands which are seperated by three sets of two drilled circles. The object is either part of the foot plate of a cruciform or small long brooch, or is the lower part of a strap end.

Early Medieval or Medieval copper alloy strap end 30mm long, 7mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.55grams. The object is sub-rectangular in form and section and is waisted, it narrows slightly in the centre. Its upper half consists of two plates which are welded together and each side has a central circular hole for a rivet. The lower half is solid and is an elongated oval in form, there is no sign of decoration.

Early Medieval or Medieval? copper alloy mount 30mm long, 5mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 1.92grams. The object is rectangular in form and circular in section. It is hollow with a slit opening running its length. Its surface is decorated with a series of raised bands grouped into 10's. This is seperated by a plain section with 8 bands following, suggesting that the object has been interupted here. The object is some sort of banding, designed to sit on the edge of a narrow sheeting of some sort.

Early medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 62mm long, 29mm wide and 11mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 8.86 grams. The object consists of a sub rectangular head plate which has three semi-spherial sectioned, semi-circular knops. There is a semi-circular lug attachment on its reverese and a curved bow emerges from one edge. Below the bow the object consists of a flat 'kite' shaped plate which houses the catchplate and is decorated with a border of stamped crescents, this terminates with a semi-spherical knop which matches the others.

It is complete and has a rectangular section and sub rectangular form with bowed edges. There are two circular sectioned holes sitting below a curved upper edge. The surface is worn but appears to be decorated with a interlace design. The lower pointed end has the remains of distinct comma shaped ears.

~~Early medieval copper alloy and gold saucer brooch, 42mm in diameter and 4mm thick The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 10.76grams. The brooch is incomplete and quite worn, only part of the original steep sided edge remains. It is decorated with a circular design with what appears to be two very devolved animals seperated by an open rectangular motif. these curl around an open circle and are enclosed by a double linear border. There is a thick line of gold near one of its edges. Its reverse contains the very worn remians of a single lug and catchplate.

Two Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch fragments which appear to be part of the same brooch, The head plate 31mm long, 25mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 10.90grams. It is sub rectangular in form and has a single solid knop on its upper edge with the remains of a single lug on its reverse, surrounded by a large patch of iron corrosion The bow is 21mm long, 14mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 4.13grams. The bow has a triangular section and has an incised line running down its ridge.
