The bead is circular in form and oval in cross section. It is formed of a Semi-circular cross sectioned band of vivid blue glass. There is no obvious decoration.

Undated glass bead, 6mm in length and 7mm in diameter. The bead has a spherical form and cross section with a small circular hole, 2.5mm in diameter, through its centre. The object has a bright blue opaque colour and is slightly damaged around the edges of the central hole.

Late Roman or early Medieval Glass bead, 12mm in diameter and 4mm thick. The object is circular in form and ovoid in cross section with a central circular ghole, 5mm in diameter. It is made from black glass and decorated with an applied slip like zig zag decoration in white glass.

Roman glass vessel fragment Length: 40 mm, width: 46 mm, thickness: 2.5 mm, thickness of rim: 7 mm, weight: 9.5 grams.
The object is rectangular in form and C shaped in cross section. It is a rim sherd which has a turned over rounded edge which is hollow inside. This sits above a rounded and tapering inwards neck. This would suggest the neck of a large bottle or jug.

Opaque pale blue 8mm thick, 12mm diameter and weighing 1.37grams.
Dark blue, 6mm thick, 9mm in diameter and weighing 0.97grams.
The form and colouration suggest they could be of some age, but these are very difficult to date. Iron age to medieval?

Roman or early Medieval glass bead, 23.8mm in diameter and 13mm thick. The bead is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 6.12grams. The bead is sub-circular in form and oval in section, so that it appears to bulge at one side. It has an off centre circular hole and is missing a small section, which probably caused it to be lost.

Roman? glass vessel rim and handle. The rim fragment measures 34mm long, 11mm wide and 3.5mm thick. The attached handle is 26mm long, 21mm wide and 8mm thick at its thickest. The object weighs 5.51grams.
The rim consists of a sheet of glass that has been folded over on itself, so that the folded section forms a border around the outside of the object. Attached to this is a D-shaped and oval cross sectioned handle. Roman or early medieval? glass bead, 20mm in diameter and 10mm wide. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.86grams. It has an irregular circular form with a circular section and irregular sub-triangular void, 8mm across. It is made from dark cobalt blue glass and has a small chip missing from its outer surface. Beads of this material and colour are usually dated to the Roman period here, but it may also be early medieval in date. This particular example is similar to beads found at Morningthorpe Anglo-Saxon Cemetery.

A glass bead of uncertain date, probably Roman or Early Medieval. It is roughly of circular shape with a large eye in the middle. The object is in good condition, with no obvious damage to its surface, and its colour can be described as blue to turquoise.

Base of a hand made glass vessel, 35mm in diameter and 8mm high. This appears to have been re-used after the vessel was broken as there is a white residue inside. The object consist of a round base of solid glass, which is cylindrical. It has a slightly domed piece of glass covering it. on one surface it has a clear break where the sides of a vessel once emerged.It was possibly the base of a small bowl or cylindrical container?

Roman or Anglo-Saxon glass bead, 11mm in diameter and 5mm thick. The bead is in fair condition and weighs 0.66grams. The bead has been roughly made and is sub spherical with a dark green colour. It has a very small circulur hole in its centre, which on one side is surrounded by a depression On the other side the hole is slightly smaller and has no accompanying depression.
