A group of 18 Roman copper alloy Sestertii dating from Antoninus Pius 138-61 to Postumus 260-8. found in association with later coins recorded as LEIC-CB5EE0 Report by Dr Eleanor Ghey; The coins are in variable condition but most are worn, with loss of their edges and consequently of low weight, though they appear from their size to be sestertii. They appear to be a group of Antonine coins (dated to AD 168‒9 or later) with one exception, a third century sestertius of the emperor Postumus. Post Medieval silver Bosans whistle, 31mm long, 11mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a silver patina and weighs 2.7grams. The object is a Tudor period whistle which is formed of a circular hollow, made up of two pieces of metal with a joining ridge running around it. A Late Medieval copper alloy purse bar fragment, dating to c.AD 1450  -1550. 67mm in length, 9mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 16.83g. The object is rectangular in form and sub rectangular in cross section and represents about one half of a complete bar. Its complete end has a stepped rounded terminal 7mm in diameter and 7-8mm wide. From here the bar is flatter and bows slightly outwards in the centre. It has two semi-circular flat projections on its underside, 5mm wide, which have circular holes for sewing on the purse body. Early to Middle Bronze age copper alloy flanged axehead, Length 62mm, width 17mm, thickness 11mm, weight 53.35g. The object is complete and in fair condition. It has a slightly damaged rounded blade. The object narrows from this point becoming rectangular in form and cross section. The body of the axe has rounded sides which expand upwards to form a flange along each long edge on both surfaces. The axe is very similar to NMS-370DE4.

Copper alloy bird-shaped mount, probably Roman in date, 35mm long, 20mm wide and 14mm thick with a weight of 11.84g. The bird is three-dimensional, simple and stylied. It has a rounded head with triangular beak, circular eyes inlaid with some other material, probably iron, and a linear 'mouth'. A Post medieval sword belt fitting, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1700. Length: 29 mm, width: 20 mm, thickness: 3 mm, weight: 4.45 g. The object is sub recatngular in form and rectangular in cross section. The object is incomplete and comprises a trefoil shaped terminal which houses a central iron rivet. The object widens from here forming a now triangular shape, having broken at its now base. It is has foliate incised decoration on one surface. If was found very close to LEIC-F30838, possibly part of a set?

Medieval copper alloy dagger chape, 32mm long, 24mm wide and 10mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 6.89grams. The object is triangular in form and oval in section. It has a circular domed base which widens out to form a sheet which is folded over itself and riveted to the chape. The circular hole is clearly visible near its upper surface. It is decorated with a border made up of five incised lines.

Roman copper alloy head stud brooch, 26mm long, 15mm wide. The object is in poor condition being bent back on itself, has a green patina and weighs 7.51grams. The brooch has short stepped wings which contain a hinged pin. The bow has a raised circular protrusion with a central raised dot. The rest of the bow has a series of triangular and rectangular depressions running down its length, but there are no signs of enamel. The base of the brooch has a semi-circluar foot and an intact sub triangular catchplate.
