Medieval copper alloy annular brooch, 32mm in diameter, 4mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 10.10g. The object is circular, with a broad band and a flat rectangular cross-section. It has a very short and narrow recess to hold the pin, now missing, and has a Latin inscription in poorly executed black-letter script on one face. The letters are divided into four evenly spaced groups within a well-made incised border which runs just inside either edge. The inscription reads 'ihc naza renus rex' (Jesus of Nazareth King).

Late Bronze Age copper alloy stepped spearhead fragment, 48mm long, 16mm wide, 9mm thick and weighs 13.32g. The object consists of the tip of a spearhead which is intricately cast. It has a central conical section which is flanked by a straight sided stepped blade with two clear platforms which all taper together to form a rounded point. The spear is very worn and is broken.

Medieval copper alloy chafing dish handle, 61mm long, 59mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 42.9 grams. The object consists of an openwork handle which is Octagonal in section and has a curved W shaped base with a trapezoidal upper half. The narrow straight upper edge is attached (by a central circular hole) to a rectangular sectioned sub oval lug which has a flat narrow end with a small circular platform (for attaching to the main body of the vessel).

Roman copper alloy Colchester bow brooch, 53mm in length, 14mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 6.35grams. The object is intact except for its pin and consists of a short and narrow rectangular headplate, behind which sits a spring of three coils. The bow is plain, ovoid in cross section and tapers to a point. The large catchplate is incomplete and is triangular in form with three (two incomplete) rectangular cut outs. The brooch is similar to fig.156 eg.1455/1459 Hattatt.

Medieval copper alloy padlock barrel, 26mm long, 21 mm wide and 11mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 7.63grams. It is incomplete and consists of a sub rectangular 'barrel' which is decorated on its two outer sides with two raised vertical bands. Post Medieval copper alloy dress hook, 35mm long, 16mm wide and 4mm thick. The hook is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 1.69grams. The object consists of a pointed hook, which is bent over itself, attached to a circular plate. The plate contains a relief depiction of a human? face contained within a dotted border. Medieval copper alloy annular ring brooch, 49mm wide and 5mm in diameter. The object is in good condition with a green patina and weighs 28.3grams. The loop is plain and circular in section it has a circular sectioned pin which is attached to the loop by an integral incomplete loop. below this loop is a raised rectangular area which is decorated with diagonal incisions. The end of the pin is flattened and slightly curved to fit snugly over the loop.

Medieval barrel lock, 35mm long, 21mm wide and 11mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 9.60grams. The object consists of a hexagonal 'tube' which is decorated on its outside with an incised border at both ends and a double arch motif made up of punch marks filling each face. At one end it has a rectangular protrusion placed at right angles (tab) this holds the bar, a circular sectioned tapering shaft aligned parallel with the main body. The edges are incomplete and the object is missing part of its mechanism that would have completed the lock.

The foot has a rectangular form and cross section which widens at the base, forming a protruding foot.
These can be difficult to date as they were used over a long period. Egan (1998) comments that commonly used cooking vessels in the Medieval period include skillets, ewers, and cauldrons. The mintmark on this coin is not clear and the coin has generated much discussion, including communication with Klaus Vondrovec in Vienna where other such coins are held.
