Medieval? copper alloy object, 23mm long, 13mm wide and 1mm thick. the object is in fair condition with a dark brown patina and weighs 1.34grams. The object is sub triangular in form and has a ridge along its longest straight edge where something has snapped off. Its surface is decorated with a line of six incised ring and dot motifs running its length with a further one on each side near the wide edge. It has a narrower straight edge at its other end which also appears to be detacthed from something. It could be a buckle plate or a book fitting?

Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 16mm long, 15mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 1.79grams. The plate is rectangular in form and section, but has damaged edges. The two plates are joined by an integral rectangular shaped protrusion which is rectangular in section with a semi-circular end, This would have held the plate onto the buckle. The plate has two circular copper alloy rivets close to its lower edge.

Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle, 30mm long, 23mm wide and 3mm thick. brown patina weighs 4.10grams. The buckle is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in section. It has an integral recessed pin bar and has a decorated pin rest. The rest which is the widest part has two sets of three diagionally aligned incised lines, sitting on raised rectangular sections, between which the pin would sit. This matches No 92 in buckles 1250-1800, and dates to 1250-1400.

Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 25mm long, 16mm wide and 5mm thick. The object is in a fair condition with a green patina and weighs 2.26grams. The plate is rectangular, formed of one piece of metal folded over and is secured by two circular sectioned rivets, one in each outer corner. The plate is decorated on one side with four sets of raised lines, two running diagonally, one vertically and one horizontally which cross in the centre. These are decorated with rows of raised zig zag decoration.

It consists of a sub-circular recessed pin bar with squared off terminals. The loop, which is D shaped, widens as it approachs its centre and is angled outwards. Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 51mm long, 37mm wide and 2.5mm thick. The object is in good condition with agreen patina and weighs 12.12grams. The buckle is rectangular in form and section. It has flat circular protrusions at each corner and has three pronged, fleuer like, protrusions in the centre of each edge. There is an integral semi-circular sectioned pin bar in the centre and the pin rest is marked out with an incised line. The buckle dates to 1620-80 and matches fig. 529 in 'Buckles 1250-1800' by Whitehead, R.

The object consists of a sub rectangular sectioned shaft which is curved and tapers to a point (probably worn) The centre of the object forms a pin rest and consists of two slight bulges bordered and seperated by rounded raised bands. These bulges are decorated with diagonal incisions.
