Early post medieval copper alloy jetton, 28mm in diameter and 1mm thick. The jetton is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 2.63grams. This is an unusual type which illustrates the use of counters. It shows a man at a counting table on one side and the alphabet on the other side. The alphabet is missing a J which supports a 16th century date. issued by Wolf Lauffer I, ref.M1671
