Medieval? copper alloy object, 17mm long, 14mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a green patina and weighs 3.27grams. It has a semi-circular form and has a rounded upper surface with a flat underside. It has stamped circles over most of its surface and its underside has two large circular depressions and one small one. The small one corresponds to one on its upper surface and there is also one large depression which may correspond to one of those on the underside? The object may be part of a strap end or buckle??

Unidentified copper alloy object, 40mm long and 6mm in diameter, with a weight of 5.01grams. The object consists of a polyhedral terminal which is decorated with a series of ring and dot motifs. This adjoins a circular sectioned shaft which is decorated with a series of raised bands. After a step the object continues as an un- decorated shaft until it terminates in two prongs, both damaged. The object may be some sort of peg ? or be part of a larger implement. Compare SUR-1CCBA3.

Post Medieval copper alloy terminal? The object is 28mm long, 17mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 2.32grams. It is oval in form and semi-spherical in section and is decorated on its curved side with a pattern formed of punched cresent shapes. It has what may be closed eyes? picked out near the centre. There is also a small rectangular protrusion emerging from the slightly flattened edge.

Medieval or post medieval lead alloy object, possibly a strap fitting? 30mm long, 19mm wide and 7mm thick. the object is in fair condition and weighs 6.12grams. It is incomplete but consists of a crescent shaped terminal made up of two sheets. This is attached to a narrow neck which then widens out into what may be an oval form. The larger portion has raised linear decoration radiate from the end of the neck. The crescent shaped section has a circular hole in its centre, suggesting this was holding something in the centre of the two halves?

Undated fragment of twisted gold wire, 30mm long,(50mm if unbent) and 3mm in diameter. The object is in good condition with a gold patina and weighs 6.16 grams. The object is circular in section and is twisted to form a rope effect. It has been bent over one third along its length, one end has snapped whilst the other end has been chopped. Analysis carried out at the British Museum by Antony Simpson shows that the object is 82-87% gold, 12-14% silver with the remainder being copper.

Silver object, 40mm long and 5mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.27g. The object consists of a hollow tube which has a wide collar decorated with an incised line and ridge at each end. protruding from this is a rectangular-sectioned wire, 3mm wide and 1mm thick, that has been twisted three times before carrying on flat and straight. Probably post-medieval, and likely to be 18th or 19th century.

Unknown copper alloy object, 37mm long, 33mm wide and 5mm thick. The object is good condition with a dark grey/brown patina and weighs 21.63grams. The object is sub triangular in form and appears incomplete. It has one straight edge which is angled at 45o and has snapped off. In the centre of this side is a circular hole, 6mm in diameter. At this point the object is at its thickest and it tapers gently in width to the edge, which slightly curves to a point and is 2mm thick. The patina suggests a medieval date, but its function is unknown.
