Roman copper alloy toggle, 14mm long, 12mm high and 6mm wide. It weighs 1.7 grams and has a greenish corroded surface. The toggle is sub rectangular with rounded edges. 1/3rd of the way along the underside is a triangular stalk with the remains of a suspension loop (now broken) at the lower end. This is best described as a toggle but the asymmetry is unusual. Dating is also difficult but it could well be Roman.
