Roman copper alloy nummus of Maximian I, dating to c. AD 296-297 (Reece Period 15). Reverse: GENIO POPVLI ROMANI. Mint of Ticinum. RIC VI, p. 284, no. 31b. 26 mm in diameter, 2 mm thick with a weight of 8.49 gms. The coin is in good condition with a brown patina, but has a crack in its edge.
