Medieval silver penny, probably of Edward. The E of the ruler's name on the obverse appears to be reversed. The reverse cross has unusual marks at the centre.
The coin has been clipped or damaged such that the mint is not visible.

Medieval Silver halfpenny, 15mm in diameter, 0.25mm thick with a weight of 0.40 grams. The coin is in poor condition, being worn and heavily clipped. No inscription can be made out on either side. The reverse has rather large pellets and a rope effect border. The patina is silver with brown corrosion.
