Medieval lead alloy ampulla, Length: 39 mm, width: 29 mm, thickness: 5 mm, weight: 21.84 g. The ampulla is incompleet and has no obvious decoration. It is 'bag' shaped having a rectangular shaped upper section sitting on a rounded section wit a sub rectangular cross section. The upper part is incomplete, damaged to remove the holy water it contained.

Post Medieval silver hinged fitting, 23mm long, 9mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 1.81g. The object is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of a circular cross sectioned hinge, complete with a bar. Below this is a rectangular 'collar' with two transverse linear depressions. The object is sub rectangular in form and section and consists of solid circular sectioned wings which hold a central hinged pin. The bow is rectangular in form and slightly curved with a central ridge decorated with two incised lines running its length. It is missing its base, pin and catchplate.

Roman copper alloy Aucissa variant brooch, 34mm long, 6mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condituion and weighs 3.20grams. The object is C shaped in form and sub rectangular in section. It has a flat bow which is curved into a C shape and terminates with a large circular sectioned catchplate with a spherical base. The bow is decorated with a central double ridge running its length. The brooch is missing its upper bow and pin.

Late Iron Age - early Roman copper alloy Langton Down bow brooch, 19mm long, 15mm wide and 5mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 1.48grams. It consists of part of a circular sectioned wing with the upper part of a rectangular shaped and curved bow. The bow is decorated with a series of vertical depressions running its length. The brooch is similar to examples in Hattatt, R. A visual catalogue of ancient brooches, page 306, fig 165 and is dated to the first century.

Roman copper alloy thistle brooch, Length: 41 mm, width: 25 mm, thickness: 6 mm, weight: 8.66 g The brooch was found in two fragments which join. It has a circular cross sectioned, rectangular shaped hollow headplate which sits above a flat backplate. This has a circular upper half and a trapezoidal shpaed lower half. The reverse of this section houses the catchplate which is sub rectangular in form. The top part has traces of possible tinning/silvering on its surface, but the object appears to be misssing a front plate as there are no traces of decoration?

Medieval copper alloyspur buckle, 27mm long, 16mmm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 3.15grams. The buckle has a triangular frame which incoporates an integral plate and a trapezoidal loop. This has a wide pin rest which slopes outward and is slightly recessed from the frames projecting knops in each corner. The plate has a circular hole through which the pin is attached and this sits centrally in an area decorated with three transverse ridges. A Post medieval copper-alloy button, dating to AD 1500 - 1800. Thickness: 10 mm, diameter: 20 mm, weight: 4.48 g. The button his formed of a domed circular shaped plate which is decorated with an incised circle surrounding a central ciecular depression. It has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned shafter emerging from the centre of its base. This has a circular hole taking up most of it.

Post medieval lead cloth seal. 14mm in length, 12mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 1.91grams. The seal is circular and formed of two discs now incomplete which would have been joined by a short rectangular strip. Obverse inscription reads I?-/160-/ C N. This could be a match for the seal of Thomas Lane (TL) 1603 or Joshua Culey (IC) , 1606 Mayors of Norwich. Reverse image may be of a lion or a portculis? Egan, G. Provenanced Leaden cloth seals UCL Thesis 1987 p.177-8.
