The object would have been used to secure a handle to a vessel, proabblay a cauldron. It is rectangular in form and D shaped in cross -section. Roman or early post Roman copper alloy tweezers, Length: 60 mm, width: 6 mm, thickness: 1 mm, weight: 5.15 g. The object is formed of a single rectangular shaped and cross sectioned strip. It has been folded on itself,in its centre, forming a rounded opening (to house a suspension loop) Each side tapers outwards slightly in width and terminates with a flat inward turned edge. There is no obvious decoration and the terminals are still sharp and useable. The object is similar to Crummy p. 59, e.g. 1982, which she dates as later Roman, but possibly early post Roman.

Post Medieval copper alloy toy Petronel, 91mm long, 23mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 23.25grams. The object is sub- rectangular in form and section and consists of a long hexagonal sectioned barrel which has double incised bands down its length. This attaches to a tapering breech which holds a large circular ring enclosing a hole on one side (for adding powder?) with a rectangular loop/trigger guard below. The object has a triangular shaped stock and is decorated all over its surface with incised circles.
