Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 33mm long, 36mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 26.31grams. The object consists of the lower half of a bag shaped ampulla which appears to be plain on one side and on the other has a crowned W, for Walsingham.

Medieval? lead alloy pilgrim badge, 20mm long 18mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.27g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and depicts a bearded? figure with a possible halo of pellets or a headress around its head. The figure has its arms raised upwards by its head (in an attitude of early Christian prayer?) and is wearing a long sleeved tunic decorated with raised curved lines which run down the sleeves and converge in the middle of the body. Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, 43mm long, 16mm wide and 17mm deep. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 8.6grams. It is mising its pin but some of the uncoiled spring was retrieved with the item. It consists of short rectangular wings with stepped vertical lines which sit beside a rectangular sectioned bow. This is decorated with a riase circular stud which sits above a row of rectangular enamel cells with traces of red enamel. This sits above a stepped foot and in front of a triangular catchplate.

Roman copper alloy Colchester one-piece brooch, 58mm long, 21mm wide and 10mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 12.77grams. The brooch consists of a narrow rectangular bar which holds a spring of seven coils. This sits on top of a circular sectioned bow which tapers in width to a point. The brooch has part of an openwork catchplate c.20mm long. The brooch is similar to eg 1455, fig 156 in Hattatt, R. A visual catalogue of ancient brooches.

Roman copper-alloy Colchester derivative double lug type brooch. The object consists of semi-circular sectioned plain wings which are missing the spring. The bow is rectangular in section ans quite flat, with a wide central ridge running its length. Near the top emerges a further rounded ridge which forms a spring loop at its terminal. The catchplate is triangular in form, has ridged edges and a central circular hole. It is 39mm long, 19mm wide and 12mm thick and weighs 6.23g. The brooch is similar to Hattatt 1458, Pl.156.

Early medieval gilt copper alloy saucer brooch, 500-600AD. The brooch is 33mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The front of the brooch has a band of disjointed Style I animals around a central boss, and is flat with a raised lip forming the characteristic 'saucer' shape. The reverse is undecorated and a projecting pin housing or part of a catch-plate remains. Close to where the other part of the pin attachment would have been, the object has a very regular circular hole pierced through, midway between the centre and the edge; this is probably a repair. Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, c.1600-1700AD. Thickness: 3 mm, diameter: 16 mm, weight: 1.87 grams. The seal is sub-circular and incomplete and was probably a two part seal. It is decorated on one surface with a three part castle with central tower and gate with large door in front. This is flanked by turrets, each one has an enlarged arrow slit - a vertical slit with rounded terminals. Each turret has a domed roof with spherical finial and a lipped edge below.
