Roman greyware fragment, 29 x 29mm and 7mm thick. The surface is pale grey with an orange fabric and is decorated with a band 15mm wide which consists of three rows of steep triangular depressions. The band is flanked by a depression 4mm wide on each side.

Roman samian bowl fragment, 57mm long and 50mm wide. The fragment is in good condition and weighs 26.21 grams. The bowl is South Gaulish ware, either a Drag 15,17 or 18. It has a stamp identifying the maker who is Cotto ii who worked at La Graufesenque, the principal factory, which dates the bowl to 70-100 AD.

Roman copper alloy object, 40mm in diameter, 13mmm wide and weighing 21grams. The object is circular in form and trapezoidal in cross section, with a hollow underside. It has a plain, circular flat centre with sloping edges. These are decorated with a border of blue enameled triangular cells. In the centre of the flat upper surface is a small circular protrusion, probably the remains of a rod to attach this base to the rest of the vessl. For comparison see SUR-9891E5 and NMS-FFBFB1

Roman? glass vessel rim and handle. The rim fragment measures 34mm long, 11mm wide and 3.5mm thick. The attached handle is 26mm long, 21mm wide and 8mm thick at its thickest. The object weighs 5.51grams. The rim consists of a sheet of glass that has been folded over on itself, so that the folded section forms a border around the outside of the object. Attached to this is a D-shaped and oval cross sectioned handle. Roman Samian bowl sherd, 131mm long and 89mm wide and 9mm thick. The sherd forms part of the base and body of a bowl, with part of a raised circular foot with a rectangular cross section. The sherd has one complete line of circular holes running across its surface and has broken along another line. The position suggests a radiating pattern from the centre/base of the vessel. Roman to early Medieval lead alloy vat 320mm in length 250mm in wide and 130mm high. The object is circular in form and appears to be sub oval in cross section, but it is very distorted. It has a solid triangular cross sectioned rim, aligned so that it has a flat upper surface. This is 11mm wide and tapers into the body below around 10mm from the upper edge.
