Late Iron Age - early Roman copper alloy toggle, 30mm long, 18mm wide and 12mm thick. The toggle is in good condition and weighs 13.49grams. It is sub rectangular in form with a circular section. It has two sub spherical teminals which are decorated with two incised lines. The object narrows above the terminals before widening out to form a barrel shape which is decorated with a raised border at each edge and an incised line. To this is attached a circular sectioned rectangular shaped loop.

A gold Iron Age quarter stater of the Western Region / Dobunni, dating to the period c.60-20 BC, 'Sunburst Little Horse' type. Obverse: Wreath, spike with three large pellets and sunburst across, crescents below. Reverse: Triple-tailed annulate horse right, cogwheel sun above, small animal(?) below. Iron Age copper alloy bow brooch, 63mm in length, 16mm wide, 8mm thick with a weight of 12.25g. The brooch has a sub rectangular head which is formed of a spring of four coils. Below this it has a curved bow with a D shaped cross section and incised linear border on its outer face. The terminal (toe) turns backwards and has a D shaped cross section and terminates with two flat circular motifs, the outer one slightly smaller, and this terminates in a small sub rectangular knop. The brooch fits Adams type 1c. See SF-FA2893.
