A Post Medieval sundial, dating to AD 1600 - 1750. 41mm in diameter and 11mm high. The object weighs 14.27 grams and has a brown patina. The object consists of a disc of metal which has an indented central strip, 3mm wide, running around its circumference, Part of this indent is actually cut out, around a third of the total length, this is used to line up a point and there would have been a strip of metal that sat in the indent and was movable, allowing only a fraction of the cut out to be visible. Early Post Medieval lead alloy sundial, 48mm in diameter and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 46.76grams. It consists of a cast circular plate which has raised lines radiating out from the centre which reach to Arabic numerals counting out the hours. The object still has the traingular 'pointer' which is about 15mm high. It has two roughly made fixing holes on the opposite edge to the pointer which appear to be alter additions.
