Post Medieval copper alloy mount, probably a trigger guard from a musket, 66mm long, 12mm wide and 16mm thick with a weight of 17.05g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It is incomplete but consists of part of a rectangular shaft which terminates in a raised collar and has an incised border near its edge. Above this is a small sub triangular plate, above which is an acorn shaped terminal with cross hatching on its lower section. The rectangular plate houses a sub rectangular protrusion on its reverse side positioned centrally at its present base. see NMS-34A6F3

Post Medieval copper alloy trigger guard, 65mm in length, 17mm wide and 19mm thick with a weight of 15.36g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and consists of a flat plate with a flat triangular projection at one end. This is decorated with an incised line across the shaft and then two lines curving outwards from the transverse line and into the sides of the triangle.
