Medieval copper alloy casket mount, 37mm long, 15mm wide and 9mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 12.37 grams. It is sub-triangular in form with a hollow rounded reverse. It has a large circular hole near the centre of its base and there is a smaller one, drilled at a sharp angle, about two-thirds down the left edge. The mount depicts a seated woman with a child on her lap - The Virgin Mary. The figure has long hair and her torso is decorated with vertical incised lines.
