~~Early medieval copper alloy and gold saucer brooch, 42mm in diameter and 4mm thick The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 10.76grams. The brooch is incomplete and quite worn, only part of the original steep sided edge remains. It is decorated with a circular design with what appears to be two very devolved animals seperated by an open rectangular motif. these curl around an open circle and are enclosed by a double linear border. There is a thick line of gold near one of its edges. Its reverse contains the very worn remians of a single lug and catchplate.

Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 47mm long, 32mm wide and 16mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 17.98grams. It is missing its spring and pin but is otherwise intact. It has a plain sub rectangular bow with integral catchplate and shallow bows which are plain except for a border formed of two incised vertical lines.

Early Medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 30mm long, 19mm wide and 9mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.92grams. It is incomplete and has patches of corrosion on both surfaces. It consists of a crucifrom head plate which is decorated with a solide incised border containing two lines of dots. The reverse contains the remains of a single lug which is surrounded by iron staining. The bow is plain and is incomplete.

Two Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch fragments which appear to be part of the same brooch, The head plate 31mm long, 25mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 10.90grams. It is sub rectangular in form and has a single solid knop on its upper edge with the remains of a single lug on its reverse, surrounded by a large patch of iron corrosion The bow is 21mm long, 14mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 4.13grams. The bow has a triangular section and has an incised line running down its ridge.

Early medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 32mm long, 18mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 5.65grams. The object consists of the upper part of the brooch, incorporating a rectangular head plate which has two semi-circular lugs on the reverse which are encrusted with iron corrosion. Two semi circular wings are present, top and left and are seperated from the main plate by two incised lines. The upper part of the bow is intact and is decorated with a ridge flanked by two linear depressions, which runs down its centre.

Flat disk circular copper alloy brooch, probably Roman 2nd century, although similar examples of Anglo-Saxon brooches exist (Hattatt 2000, plate 1315, fig. 238). The object is incomplete. The pin and part of catch plate are missing. The object is of uneven shape with edges corroded away. The plate surface is decorated by a six pointed star with only four points visible, the rest is corroded away. The middle of the star and its points are decorated by circles. thickness: 5mm, diameter: 20mm, weight: 2.38g. Found before 1990.

Roman copper alloy and enamel dragonesque brooch. 37mm long, 25mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 8.69grams. It is incomplete, missing its lower third, but is well cast. Its head has a large crescentric ear and a large sub spherical eye. This joins the sub oval body by a thin curved shaft. Its body has five cells for enamel, a large central one which is 'lentoid' in form is flanked by two sub-triangular cells and two 'leaf shaped cells. One of the sub triangular cells has a patch of red enamel still adhering to it, the others are empty.
