Medieval to post medieval lead alloy standing/pyramidal weight, 39mm long, 19mm wide, 15mm thick and weighs 59.93g. The weight is triangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has an integral suspension hole near its flattened apex. It is roughly cast and damaged. It is similar to WMID-64ED04 and HAMP-C179D3 which are dated 1200-1600.

Early Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 21mm in diameter and 14mm thick and weighs 32.78grams. The whorl is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has one roughly incised cross on its side. Its form, which matches Walton class A2-B1, and its wide aperture of 10-12mm, suggest an early medieval date. Similar whorls have been found in neighbouring Lincolnshire, for example NLM-B1C990 NLM-525B73 NLM-1372D8

From below the knop emerges a raised trefoil linear design formed of coiled tendrils (double in the centre)which terminate in knops. The seal consists of an 8 pointed star made of corn ears and spikes. There is a long inscription present but it is patchy and worn.

The object is circular in section and tapers slightly, being 7mm in diameter around its top. This is decorated with four sub spherical knops. The object is probably a viking period gaming piece, similar shaped objects were found in large numbers at the winter camp site at Torksey. See fig. 3, Hadley, D. and Richards, J. MSRG Vol 33.

Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, 19mm long, 15mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.44grams. The seal is an unusual shape having a 'crimped' edges. It appears to carry a royal crown with initials which look to be CR, but is more likely a poor G for one of the Georges. It reads '682 England' around the crown and has two initials on teh other side.

The object is very similar to examples from Coppergate in York, particularly 10602, fig 1268, page 2573, YAT17/14.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 42mm in diameter and 12mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 47.97grams. It is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section. It is decorated on both sides, one side is formed of pairs of raised triangles with a transverse line through them, forming a chevron design. The other has a series of pellets in rings. The whorl fits Walton Rogers Form C which she dates to 1100-1500AD

The object is circular in form and consists of two dished plates which are connected by a small hinge (now broken). The object is decorated on both sides with a pattern of concentric bands, the outer one containing pellet in ring motifs separated by diagonally striped bands. There is a further plain band surrounding a central flower motif.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 30mmm in diameter. The whorl is in good condition and has interesting decoration. One side has a series of semi-spheres enclosed by straight, joining lines. The other side is inscribed with the letters E I A M and what could be another I or J? (looks like an anchor). Each letter is separated by a transverse raised line and spaces are filled with random raised circles. The whorl fits Walton Rogers Form C which she dates to 1100-1500AD (Recorded from a photo)

Early Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, 23mm in diameter and 4mm thick. The object is in a fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 5.29 grams. The object consists of two circular discs of lead which are joined by a thin strip. One is complete and shows the English royal crest with an E visible to the left. This is surrounded by an inscription, some of which can be read OMALIE'LON. The other side has only a small portion remaining, where it was pressed onto the cloth and possibly shows the crest for London in a decorative border.

The object is in two pieces and has a semi-circular section. It consists of a long shaft which tapers to a point at one end and at the other end has two protrusions which forms a crescent shape, with its edges also tapering to a point. In the centre of the crescent where the shaft joins is a raised oval area which apperas to be decoration. The underside has a slight depression running its length which is probably a result of its manufacture.
