Medieval silver (half?) Groat of Henry VII, 19mm in diameter, 1mm thick and weighing 1.37 grams. The coin is worn on the obverse, obliterating most of the forward facing portrait. It shows the king wearing a crown with jewelled outer arches, this points to it being a class IIIc. The reverse has a long cross and three pellets in each quarter with two lines of inscription. The inner gives the mint which is Canterbury. A barrel in the outer border dates the coin to 1493-1499. The coin has been clipped making the outer inscriptions difficult to read. Late Medieval silver groat of Henry VII, 25mm in diameter and 2.97 grams in weight. The groat is a class 1 with open crown and saltaires? on shoulders. The obverse shows facing bust with inscription HENRICUSDEIGRA[TIA]ANGLFRA. Reverse shows long cross and pellets with two rows of inscription, inner reads CIVITAS LONDON with three joined pellets? after civitas. The outer inscription reads POSVID[...]DIVI[...]N. It matches 1703 in North and Seaby 2194.

Medieval silver halfgroat of Henry VII, 25mm in diameter and 1mm thick. The coin weighs 3.24 grams and has a good silver patina. Obverse shows forward facing bust, the same as 2199 in Seaby, with inscription HENRIC.DEI.GRA.REX.AGL.Z.FR. Reverse shows long cross and three pellets with two lines of inscription. CIVITASLONDON and POSVI. DEV A. DIV[...]MEV. The coin has an anchor mint mark which dates it to 1499-1502.

Discussion:
Two identical coins were found 10 days apart in almost the same place, suggesting a dispersed hoard.
