Roman or medieval stone spindle whorl, 42mm in diameter and 19mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 42.88grams. The whorl has a central hole circular hole, c.10mm in diameter. The rock is fine grained and has calcite/quartz small rounded inclusions.

Roman copper alloy and glass (or green gemstone)? intaglio finger ring, 22mm in diameter and 4mm thick. The object is in good condition and consists of a complete loop with wide shoulders that are pinched where they join the oval bezel. The intaglio which is made from a green substance, shows a female portrait with very Roman features.
