Early Medieval to Medieval probable strap end, 44mm in length, 12mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 5.52grams. The object is damaged, missing a lot of original surface and probably incomplete. It is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in cross section and is decorated on one face and along its edge. The object has a flat short edge, with sides that widen out to a point c. one third of its present length, before turning sharply inwards and terminating in a short but damaged (incomplete) far end.
