Medieval lead alloy seal matrix, 35mm long, 31mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a cream patina and weighs 13.22gram. The matrix is circular and has a protruding knop at the upper edge. Below this is an incsribed cross which begins the inscription of which only a few letters can be made out, SIGI--NIS-----RDI. Inside the inscription is foliate decoration containing a central upright stem with three feathery protrusions, below, on either side of this is a slightly curved 'tendril' and below that a swirl. The reverse is plain.

Medieval lead alloy seal matrix, 21mm long, 14mm wide and 9mm thick. The object is in fair condition, despite being bent in half, has a grey patina and weighs 9.55grams. the matrix is 'pear' shaped, with one pointed end and one rounded, with a rectangular section. The reverse appears to be plain and the inscription appears to read RMDES?ROM(?). This is arranged around a central fluer like motif.

Medieval copper alloy pendant seal matrix, 14mm long, 14mm wide and 11m thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 2.6grams. The object has a tapering shaft which would have originally formed a spherical terminal containing a suspension loop. The shaft widens to form the matrix which was originally circular and has no inscription. The seal is formed of a star of david which contains a fine image of a hare or rabbit.

Medieval lead alloy seal matrix, 27mm long, 24mm wide and 3mm thick the object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 9.39grams. The matrix has a central leaf motif with an inscribed border, which appears to say SWILE[...]XYTH with a star motif at the begining. The reverse has a ridge running most of its length which swells to become a rounded knop at the edge. This has a transverse ridge running under it forming a cross motif and appears to be flanked by a raised V and L?

Silver seal-die with fluted handle with remains of maker's mark (?) on upper side, annular ring and above that pierced loop for suspension. The die engraved with amorous motif of a heart pierced by two arrows with drops of blood below, and an eye above, within pearled octagonal border, slightly dented at one edge.

Post Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 27.6mm long, 17.4mm wide and 17mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a green patina and weighs 10.89 grams. The object has a circular matrix which is worn but has three sub circular depressions, two of which appear attached. The shaft tapers to a point and is hexagonal in section, terminating in a rounded knop which holds a suspsension hole.

The object consists of a circular matrix which may have an image of a bird? It has a sub-circular shaft which tapers from teh reverse of the matrix and terminates with a protruding collar and a circular suspension loop. The inscription is too worn to make out.

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 28mm long, 12mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition, having worn edges, has a brown patina and weighs 5.17grams. The matrix is a 'pointed oval' in form and is rectangular in section. It has a raised central rib which widens as it approaches the edge which contains a semi-circular protrusion 6mm deep and 10mm wide. The matrix is illustrated with a lamb holding a flag (Agnus Dei). The illustration appears to have lombardic lettering but it will need cleaning to make this legible.

Medieval lead alloy seal matrix, 32mm long, 22mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 11.60 grams. The object is oval in form with pointed terminals. It appears to have had an inscription at some point surrounding an incised border, but this is very worn. The other side has raised decoration which consists of a wheatsheaf? there is a rounded protrusion below this which may have been a handle.

The object terminates at one end with a sub triangular knop and the other has an oval disc attached by a small triangular shaft. The surface of the disc is worn but it may have held some sort of seal?

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 18mm long and 14mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with agreen patina and weighs 5.98grams. The object consists of a hexagonal shaft, which is missing its loop. It widens to form a circular platfrom for the matrix. On this is a shield with straight top and sides curving to a point. The upper rectangular area (in chief) has an image of half a lion passant guardant and half a boat (compare the arms of the port of Hastings, which has a similar motif). Post Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 29mm long, 15mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a brown patina and weighs 3.90grams. The object consists of a shaft which is triangular in form and circular in section. The base contains a flat circular plate which has the initials WA inscribed into its surface. the shaft tapers in width until it terminates with a flat trefoil shaped handle. This has four circular holes in it, three in a row with one above, forming a suspension loop. The object is very worn and slighly bent.

Silver seal matrix with fluted handle and integral suspension loop with cusped outline of Gothic form. The die is deeply engraved with a shield of arms which is difficult to read even under strong magnification, but appears to be two lions passant with their tails along their backs, within a double pearled border framing a band of scrolling foliage. The arms resemble the three lions conventionally found on the arms of England from c1195, but with two rather than three. Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 27mm long, 18mm wide and 3mm thick. The seal is in fair condition and weighs 7.81g. It ispointed-oval and flat, and has a central image of a 'pelican in her piety' - in other words, a bird feeding three chicks in a nest by pecking at her own chest. This was a commonly used image symbolising Christ's sacrifice. The central image is upside down with respect to the surrounding inscription, which is set between beaded borders. The object is oval in form and has a central oval sectioned shaft emerging from the centre of the reverse, which has snapped off. The matrix consists of a raised circle with four points coming off at right angles. in between these are curving lines or rays and the whole is surrounded by a raised border.
