Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle, 30mm long, 23mm wide and 3mm thick. brown patina weighs 4.10grams. The buckle is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in section. It has an integral recessed pin bar and has a decorated pin rest. The rest which is the widest part has two sets of three diagionally aligned incised lines, sitting on raised rectangular sections, between which the pin would sit. This matches No 92 in buckles 1250-1800, and dates to 1250-1400.

Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative brooch of the 1st century. Only the wings and part of the bow remain. The object is in fair condition but has sustained damage to the wings and to the bow, which has an old break about half way along its length. The bow has some simple raised linear decoration, and the wings have raised diagonal decorative lines. The object is 33mm long, 33mm wide, 18mm thick.

Medieval copper alloy swivel harness? fitting, 51mm long, 28mm wide and 11 mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 23.56grams. The object comprises of two sub circular loops which have an integral rectangular 'block' at one side. These two components are joined via a circular sectioned shaft running through the two rectangular blocks. The blocks are decorated with two raised vertical ridges close to the outer edge on both sides.

Early-medieval copper-alloy enamelled disc brooch, 27mm in diameter and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 5.99g. The object is circular in form and rectangular in section, with traces of a pin and catchplate on its reverse. It has a border of 6 (1 is missing) protruding lobes, 3 of which are filled with a semi-spherical blue glass 'bead'. The main surface of the brooch is filled with enamel. Medieval copper alloy strap end, 46mm long, 9mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.70grams. The object is rectangular in form and section and consists of two plates rivetted together. It has a decorative cruciform terminal at its lower end and its upper edge is held apart by a copper alloy rivet. There is a slght trace of the surface having decoration, a raised border can just be made out near the terminal, although none is visible.

Medieval? copper alloy buckle plate, 30mm long, 10mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.46grams. The object is rectangular in form and section and consists of a plate with a circular domed terminal at one end, with a recessed pin space and 'hinges' at the other. Near the pin recess is a large rivet with a domed top. There are two further rivet holes at the far end and it appears to have a decorative border running down each long edge. The object is probably a buckle plate, although it may ba a book fitting?
