The mintmark on this coin is not clear and the coin has generated much discussion, including communication with Klaus Vondrovec in Vienna where other such coins are held. The probable reading of the mintmark is ANE, but the N does look like an H. This would suggest Heraclea, but there is no S at the start of the mintmark - furthermore, we have learnt that the Heraclea coins of this type in RIC, …

Obverse shows right facing diademed bust, possibly Constans? no inscription can be seen. Reverse shows winged victory holding wreath no inscription or mint mark is visible.
