Medieval Nottingham ware ceramic vessel rim, 24mm long, 28mm wide and 9mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 6.02grams. The vessel has a rim whose outer profile is a slight step which terminates in a plain edge. Its inner surface falls away at a steep angle. Its fabric is sandy with small quartz inclusions and its surface has a pale green glaze. It has a grey reduced interior and a white oxidised exterior, suggesting it is a closed form. The sub-fabric is probably NO3 1250-1350.

The fragment represents about a third of a circular weight. It has an ovoid section with a straight inner edge. The fabric is fine with small holes and organic inclusions. One side has an orange patina and the other is dark brown.

Medievel base sherd of Lyvenden-Stanion ware, 30mm long, 30mm wide and 7mm thick. The sherd is in fair condition with a grey/orange patina and weighs 5.48 grams. The sherd has a fine grey core with rounded chalky inclusions showing in a new break (these have been leached out elsewhere). Its inner surface is grey and its outer is a pale orange with traces of splashed pale green glaze. The sherd is curved at a 45 degree angle through its middle.

Two joining Roman mortaria sherds, weighing 89grams. The fabric is probably Mancetter-Hartshill White ware and it dates to the early 2nd Century around 110-150AD. The fabric is a creamy colour with gritty inclusions. One is stamped with lettering that looks like VVI in a raised border which will be the maker's mark.

Roman grey ware kiln bar fragment, 55 mm long, 30 mm wide and 15 mm thick. The bar is quite worn with an open texture and grey colouring and weighs 25.39 grams. The bar is roughly triangular in shape with rounded edges and a rectangular cross section. it represents about half of a complete bar.
