Late Roman copper alloy 'amphora' strap end. The object is an elongated triangle in form and has rounded edges and a sharp point. It is pinched in at the shoulder where it has two incised lines on each side. It is triangular in form at the top and has broken where the two pieces split to hold the strap.. length: 54 mm; width: 11 mm; thickness: 1 mm; weight: 3.47 g. Found before 1990.

Post Medieval copepr alloy button, 14mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.79grams. The object is circular with a slightly domed surface and has a sub-rectangular shaft which includes a circular fixing hole, protruding from its underside. The button is decorated with a series of domed circles arranged in rows, covering its whole surface. This type of button dates to the Tudor period and has many variants. This example matches fig 715, Page 25 in Bailey, G Buttons and fasteners.

The object consists of a hook which has a rectangular section and a slightly tapering 'point'. This sits above a domed circle which has a tapering shaft, with semi-circular section, emerging from the opposite side. The object has heavy traces of gilding along the circle and hook. It looks as though the pointed end is designed to fit inside or on top of something as its is completly flat on its reverse side.

The brooch consists of the front section of a dog brooch. It has a right facing head with a circular recessed eye. Its body contains one enamel cell, now empty and a long thin front leg stretched forward as though running. The brooch is very similar to eg 1189 Fig 221 in Hattatt, R. It is sub triangular/crescentic, and rectangular in cross-section. Medieval copper alloy casket key, 36mm long, 10mm wide and 3mm thick. the object is in fair condition and weighs 2.55 grams. The key has a rectangular shaped loop with a circular hole, a circular sectioned shaft and a rectangular bit with a rectangular section nearest the shaft missing.

Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) lead alloy disc brooch, 29mm long, 27mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 8.5grams. The object represents about a quarter of a circular brooch, including its catchplate which is 3mm thick. Its surface is decorated with a series of five concentric circles which surround a raised cross and pellets. The reverse has the now squashed remnants of two fixing loops/lugs aligned and right angles to the edge. The object is very similar to examples from Coppergate in York, particularly 10602, fig 1268, page 2573, YAT17/14.

Late Medieval copper alloy thimble, 25mm long and 20mm in diameter (fragmentary). The object is in poor condition and weighs 3.83grams. The thimble is incomplete and damaged, but has hand drilled holes. It is unusual in that it is packed with a ball of twine.
