It has an integral suspension hole near its flattened apex. It is roughly cast and damaged. It is similar to WMID-64ED04 and HAMP-C179D3 which are dated 1200-1600.

The rim is marked with an indented line, c. 10mm in, running parallel with its edge. each fragment has the remains of a circular? hole punched out of it, possibly to accomodate a handle.

Late Medieval copper alloy buckle, 16mm long, 11mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 1.29grams. The buckle is rectangular in form with bowing sides and a rectangular cross section. It has a folded D shaped sectioned pin attached at its narrow end and a copper sheet roller on the opposite, wider end. The buckle matches no 140, in Whitehead, R. Buckles 1250-1800.

Medieval copper alloy single loop folding buckle clasp fastener with plate, dating to c. AD 1300-1450.
The object is rectangular in form and cross section and comprises of three components. The first is a long rectangular sheet which has been folded in half around the buckle frame. Its two sheets are held together at their open end with a single centrally placed, circular rivet. The plates current shape suggests severe wear.

It has a semi-circular form and has a rounded upper surface with a flat underside. It has stamped circles over most of its surface and its underside has two large circular depressions and one small one. The small one corresponds to one on its upper surface and there is also one large depression which may correspond to one of those on the underside? The object may be part of a strap end or buckle??

The object is sub triangular in form and has a ridge along its longest straight edge where something has snapped off. Its surface is decorated with a line of six incised ring and dot motifs running its length with a further one on each side near the wide edge. It has a narrower straight edge at its other end which also appears to be detacthed from something. It could be a buckle plate or a book fitting?

The key is sub circular in section and begins with a small section of shaft, 4mm long, decorated with two horizontal incised lines. The key then forms a hollow lozenge shape with protuding knops, C.2mm wide, at each side. There is a sub spherical collar below this with an incised lower border before the key continues as a single shaft. It has snapped off here and at its furthest end.

Medieval lead alloy seal matrix, 35mm long, 31mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a cream patina and weighs 13.22gram. The matrix is circular and has a protruding knop at the upper edge. Below this is an incsribed cross which begins the inscription of which only a few letters can be made out, SIGI--NIS-----RDI. Inside the inscription is foliate decoration containing a central upright stem with three feathery protrusions, below, on either side of this is a slightly curved 'tendril' and below that a swirl. The reverse is plain.

Medieval copper alloy and iron swivel mount fragment, 17mm long, 12mm wide and 9mm thick. the object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 1.96grams. The object consists of a circular sectioned loop which has been squashed. This loop is attached to a circular plate which has a central circular hole. This hole is now filled with corroded iron, but would have formed part of a swivel mechanism with a twin plate and loop attached to it, probably by an iron rivet.

Medieval copper alloy pendant seal matrix, 14mm long, 14mm wide and 11m thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 2.6grams. The object has a tapering shaft which would have originally formed a spherical terminal containing a suspension loop. The shaft widens to form the matrix which was originally circular and has no inscription. The seal is formed of a star of david which contains a fine image of a hare or rabbit.

Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant, 27mm long, 16mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a green patina and weighs 1.95 grams. The object is fragmentary and has the remains of a suspension loop in the centre of its upper edge. The upper surface is covered with bright green corrosion product and patches of gold. It is decorated with a horizontal incised line just below the loop, from which radiates further lines running down its length. The pendant was probably shield shaped but is now missing most of its edges.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 30mm in diameter, 18mm thick with a weight of 84grams. The whorl has a dark grey patina and has been poorly cast. It is quite thick and is decorated with a series of rounded triangular protrusions seperated by linear depressions. These triangles continue protruding over the side of the whorl and are divided by a central linear depression running along its circumference. It has a central hole about 8mm in diameter and this is bordered by a raised collar on each side.

The reverse has two tapering circular shafts set at either end which have been folded over.
