Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
Undated, unidentified object, 34mm long, 20mm wide, 9mm thick and weighs 15.59g. The object is roughly T shaped and has a sub- rectangular cross section. One arm of the upper part had a rounded protrsuion and below this at teh base of teh shaft is another rounded triangular protrusion. The object is extremely worn, but as all its edges are rounded it does appear to be a deliberate object rather than casting waste or similar.

Broad period: UNKNOWN
County: Leicestershire

Undated lead object, 42mm long and 38mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 378grams. The object consists of two slightly flattened spheres which are joind by a short circular sectioned shaft. The spheres are slightly mis-aligned so the gap is larger on one side, this may be a deliberate functional attribute. The object is reminiscent of a pulley, but it is most probably a weight of some sort.
