Roman copper alloy coin, 14mm in diameter and 1.65 grams in weight. The coin is the size of a denarius, but should be silver? The patina is very dark Brown. It also appears to be clipped and is struck off centre on the reverse. The obverse has no room for inscription and appears to show a right facing bust of Septimus Severus? The reverse shows the lower half of a standing figure holding something in their left hand and standing by a (tree stump or altar). Inscription present reads II PP

Reverse shows Apollo, draped and laureate, standing facing with head to left, holding patera in right hand and lyre in the left. Inscription reads APOLLIN[I] AVGVSTO.
