Roman copper alloy votive axe, 29mm long, 23mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 2.58grams. The object consists of a rectangular sectioned shaft which is decorated on one side with transverse incised lines. The axe head is sub rectangular in form and curves downwards, so that it has a point to its lower outer edge. It is decorated on both sides, one side holds a wheel like motif on a 'stand'. Iron age to Roman copper alloy votive axe, 15mm long, 9mm wid eand 5mm thick with a weight of 2.62grams. The object is rectangular in form and oval in cross section, with rounded long edges. It has a flat oval butt end around which sits a protruding rounded collar. Below this the blade curves slightly downwards at at the concave edge there is a circular hole butting up to the collar and causing the edge to project outwards slightly.
