Early medieval copper alloy tweezer arm, 33mm long, 14mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.13grams. The object consists of a rectangular sectioned shaft which tapers in width. At the narrow end the object has been bent round to form an open suspension loop, part of which remains. The wider end is flat and turned in to form the gripping edge. There are faint traces of a border of stamped dots on the right (as pictured) lower edge and there may be further dots in the centre. Roman or saxon copper alloy tweezers, 58mm long 8mm wide with a weight of 5.05 grams. The tweezers are in a fair condition having surface pitting and some corrosion. They consist of one piece of metal which has been folded over to form two arms. The upper part has been pinched in to form a suspension loop and is narrowest here at 3mm. The arms widen to 8mm at the base and they curve in to form the gripping end. The tweezers are plain execpt for a single incised line running down the outer edge 1mm in.

It consists of a long, rectangular cross sectioned, strip folded in half with elongated triangular terminals which are curved inwards along the bottom edge. Roman or early post Roman copper alloy tweezers, Length: 60 mm, width: 6 mm, thickness: 1 mm, weight: 5.15 g. The object is formed of a single rectangular shaped and cross sectioned strip. It has been folded on itself,in its centre, forming a rounded opening (to house a suspension loop) Each side tapers outwards slightly in width and terminates with a flat inward turned edge. There is no obvious decoration and the terminals are still sharp and useable. The object is similar to Crummy p. 59, e.g. 1982, which she dates as later Roman, but possibly early post Roman.

Roman or Early Medieval copper alloy tweezer fragment, 20mm in length, 11mm wide and 1.0mm thick with a weight of 3.23grams. The object consists of one half of a pair of tweezers. It has a rectangular cross section and a slightly tapering form. Its upper edge is incomplete but a transverse incised line is visible above a stepped rectangular plate which contains an iron rivet. The remainder of the object widens out slightly to a folded lower edge and has been bent. There are no further signs of decoration.

An incomplete, copper-alloy, Roman to Early Medieval pair of tweezers c.AD 43 - 850. 18mm in length, 12mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 2.45grams.
