Post-medieval lead-alloy toy 'hornbook' fragment, 37mm long, 34mm wide and 1.5mm thick, in fair condition with a grey patina and weighing 11.22g. The object is roughly triangular in form, but would have been rectangular when complete, and has raised letters on its surface; those visible are the tail end of the alphabet. The uppermost visible line reads ...opq (apparently in lower case), and the line below reads ...TVW. Early post-medieval lead-alloy toy 'hornbook', sub-rectangular in form and rectangular in cross-section. It appears to have been roughly cast and has one rounded end. It is decorated with raised letters spelling out the alphabet, with a missing letter J suggesting a pre-1700 date. Late Medieval/early Post Medieval copper alloy miniature cauldron, 25mm long, 20mm wide and 13mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 12.43 grams. It consists of a spherical body with lipped rim above two sub triangular handles. It sits on three long, circular sectioned legs. Numerous examples of miniature domestic utensils have been found in London (see Egan and Forsyth 2005). The London examples of cauldrons (ibid. 111-115) date from the 14th to 17th centuries. Post Medieval copper alloy toy Petronel, 91mm long, 23mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 23.25grams. The object is sub- rectangular in form and section and consists of a long hexagonal sectioned barrel which has double incised bands down its length. This attaches to a tapering breech which holds a large circular ring enclosing a hole on one side (for adding powder?) with a rectangular loop/trigger guard below. The object has a triangular shaped stock and is decorated all over its surface with incised circles.

Early Post Medieval lead plaque, 38mm long, 37mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 28.8g. It is rectangular in form with a small flat rectangular projection in the centre of one edge, presumably part of a handle. The object is decorated on its reverse with blocks of raised lattice work, one at each side and a further one on the projection. A Post medieval copper-alloy miniature / toy musket (gun), dating to AD 1600 - 1640. The object is cast in one piece with a long barrel. On one side is a circular reservoir where the gunpowder would have been loaded. Below this is the trigger guard that runs to the barrel, this now being worn and broken, with only a small part of each end remaining. The barrel, which is decorated in wavy lines formed of incised dots, has a sub-oval cross section and widens towards the handle. This has a downward-angle with a pentagonal cross section and tapers towards a wider 'fishtail' butt.
