Medieval copper alloy suspension loop, 37mm long and 17mm wide. The object has a green/red patina and worn edges. It consists of a plate which is shaped like two joined ovals. each of the ovals has a hole, 4.5mm in diameter, stamped into it. The object is very similar to fig 367 in Reads 'Metal Artefacts of Antiquity' which is described as a suspension loop.

Medieval copper alloy suspension loop from a purse, 23mm long, 15mm wide with a weight of 6.07grams. The object has a green patina and a very pitted surface. It consists of the lower half of a loop, one arm survives forming a curve with a D shaped section, whilst the other is missing. The round groove on its base that would have joined it to a swivel fitting can just be made out.
