Roman copper alloy disc brooch, 26mm long, 19mm wide and 7mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 5.55grams. The brooch is circular and is missing a lot of its surface. It is plain except for a circular, hollow protrusion which probably held a decorative conical fitting or a stone. The reverse shows a catchplate and a double lug with the remains of a three coiled spring inside.

Roman copper alloy plate brooch, 21mm long, 11mm high and 1mm thick. The brooch weighs 1.22 grams and has a green patina. The brooch is in fair condition and is incomplete, missing a third. The brooch consists of a hare running right with one back leg intact (the head is missing). The body consists of three cells divided by two raised diagonal lines, no enamel is present. The reverse has a pin loop 4mm wide with a hole 2mm in diameter. The brooch is similar to 1191, Fig.221 in Hattatt except that the foot is closer to the body.

Roman copper alloy zoomorphic bird brooch, 24mm long and 8mm wide. The object is in a fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 2.36 grams. The brooch is in the form of a bird with a triangular sectioned body which is trapezoidal in form and is decorated with triangular shaped depressions which may have held enamel. Its tail, also trapezoidal in form has been bent slightly. It is missing its pin and hinge. similar to fig. 1157 in Hattatts ancient brooches.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy zoomorphic (duck) plate brooch, representing a duck floating on water. Most of the wings and body of the bird are intact, but the neck and head are missing. It is roughly triangular in plan and curves downwards at each side to represent the wings. The back of the bird has a long central ridge 3mm wide, running down its length. This ridge widens slightly at the tail end which is square and there is a circular recess with a diameter of 2mm on the tail. There are slight traces of white metal coating close to this recess. The remains of a pin attachment and catch-plate remain on the reverse, attached at either end with the hollow of the body behind them. Roman copper alloy zoomorphic brooch, 13.25mm long, 8.81mm wide, 2.65 mm thick. The object is in a fair condition and weighs 0.5 grms.This is a fragment of a plate brooch representing the back-end of an animal. The brooch shows a hare facing right, it has a triangular protrusion portraying the tail and is missing its leg. The fragment is filled by an incomplete empty oval shaped enamel cell representing the animals back leg. The reverse is flat with a rectangular casting scar suggesting the presence of a semi-circular lug.

Roman copper alloy zoomorphic brooch, 15.55 mm long, 11.17 mm wide, 6.15 mm thick. The object is in a fair condition and it weighs 1.04 grms. It is a fragment of a plate brooch representing the back-end of a hare/rabbit. The animal points right, retains part of its tail, formed by a partially eroded triangular protrusion and is missing the lower part of its leg. Two enamel cells are visible, the larger is comma shaped and forms the back end. The other is incomplete and trapezoidal in form . On the reverse side, which is flat, the semi-circular lug is present.

Opposite this, on the other edge is a sub rectangular knop like protrusion. The surface of the brooch has a plain raised border which encloses a recessed band.
