Early Medieval ceramic loomweight fragment, 123mm long, 52mm wide and 28mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a reddish patina and weighs 274 grams. The fragment represents about a third of a circular weight. It has an ovoid section with a straight inner edge. The fabric is fine with small holes and organic inclusions. One side has an orange patina and the other is dark brown.
