Early Roman copper alloy harness ring, 44mm long, 34mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 30.39g.
The object is circular in form and cross section with a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned projection at one side. The form fits that of a Lewis' type 19 ' dropped-bar strap-mounted terret.
