Medieval? copper alloy stud, 27mm long, 22mm wide and 26mm deep. The object weighs 23.64 grams and has a green patina. The object is essentially semi-circular in section and looks oblong from above. It consists of 8 wedge shapes arranged as two crosses. Each wedge has a curved outer edge with a triangular base. The underside is slightly recessed and has a stury pin in its centre which is 12mm long and 3mm in diameter. The object is most probably a door stud, but it could be a sturdy belt mount.
