Medieval copper alloy buckle and plate, 52mm long, 25mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 8.82 grams. The object consists of a complete one piece buckle plate which is folded over the buckle loop and held in place with two copper alloy rivets. This has no signs of decoration. The buckle loop is oval and has a rectangular protruding pin rest c. 15mm wide which is decorated with incised transverse lines. The buckle pin is also present and has a rectangular section and a tapering point.

Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 29mm long, 20mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 4.36grams. The plate is rectangular and has a semi-circular recess centred on one short edge (which is very worn) to accomodate a pin and has rivet holes in the opposing corners (one damaged). It is decorated with a double S shaped motif which could be an animal with a curled tail or a foliate scroll flanking a stem with flared terminal, the plate has a parallel in NMS-6119A7 which has a broad high medieval date.
