Early post Medieval copper alloy belt fastener, 42mm long, 18mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 7.99 grams. The object is in the form of the letter S with a rectangular cross section. The shape represents a snake which is decorated with a face at one end. This has incised eyes and mouth and its body has a decorative motif near the centre and the rest of the body is covered in a series of incised stripes and depressions, forming scales, along its body. The object is the fastener for a sword belt.

Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting, 41.8mm long, 20.7mm wide and 4.3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 10.4grams. The object is in the form of an S with a semi-spherical section and is decorated to resemble a snake with a series of repeating raised 'diamond' shaped motifs. In addition one end is slightly tapered and the other is slightly rounded with faint eyes.

Post Medieval copper alloy snake belt buckle, 39mm long, 19mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 11.81grams. The object is S shaped with a rhombus shaped cross section. The object is in the form of a snake, with detailed decoration and a tapering 'tail'. On one side of the central ridge running down the snakes side it is decorated with a series of raised transverse lines, on the other it has scale like criss cross decoration. It has a face with a large eye and around its neck is a circular attachment loop.

The object consists of a rectangular cross sectioned sheet which widens and becomes domed in its centre. This area is decorated with double transverse depressions which are joined together by single linear depressions, each containing patches of gilding. The object consists of an S shaped shaft with turned in terminals cast to resemble animal (snake?) heads. One head touches a central raised ridge formed of three rounded projections. The surface of the fitting is silvered and is decorated with linear depressions.

Early Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting, 31mm long, 17mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 2.86g. The object consists of a circular shaped and cross sectioned loop with a small tri-lobed terminal. This has with two circular fixing holes at each side lobe, one still has an iron rivet in place. There is a possible third hole in the central lobe and these would have attached the object to a sword belt or similar.
