Silver long cross half penny of Edward III, 16mm in diameter. The coin is very worn and stained. Obverse shows forward facing bust, inscription appears to have been struck off centre and is difficult to read. Reverse shows long cross with three pellets in each corner. Inscription reads CIVITAS CANTOR.

Late saxon silver penny of Baldred of Kent, 19mm in diameter, 1mm thick and 1.15grams in weight. The penny is a Group I bonnet type penny which dates to 823-825 and shows a bonneted bust facing right. The inscription reads +BELDRE[D]R[EX CA]NT. The reverse shows a two line inscription reading DRUR/CITS which is surrounded by the moneyers inscription [SIGE]STEFMONET. The coin is in good overall condition but fragile. Three sections of the edge have broken off which makes reading the full inscription difficult.
