Post medieval leather shoe fragment, 95mm long, 78mm wide and 32mm thick with a weight of 41.79g. The object represents half of a shoe and is formed of three seperate layers. The sole- This is sub triangular in form and rectangular in cross section, 4mm thick. It has a pointed toe and has rounded sides which narrow inwards at the point it is damaged. Its also curls up over itself at this incomplete edge. It has a row of punched circular holes set c. 4mm apart, running all the way around its complete edge.
