Early post-medieval lead-alloy toy 'hornbook', sub-rectangular in form and rectangular in cross-section. It appears to have been roughly cast and has one rounded end. It is decorated with raised letters spelling out the alphabet, with a missing letter J suggesting a pre-1700 date. The reverse has a raised image of a long narrow face and neck, with dots for eyes, a long line for a nose, with a possible moustache or badly executed mouth. The object is circular and consists of at least two or three layers, which have been pressed together to attach them to a length of cloth. One side has been stamped with a portculis motif which was introduced by Elizabeth I.

Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) lead alloy disc brooch, 29mm long, 27mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 8.5grams. The object represents about a quarter of a circular brooch, including its catchplate which is 3mm thick. Its surface is decorated with a series of five concentric circles which surround a raised cross and pellets. The reverse has the now squashed remnants of two fixing loops/lugs aligned and right angles to the edge. The object is very similar to examples from Coppergate in York, particularly 10602, fig 1268, page 2573, YAT17/14.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 31mm in diameter and 14 mm thick. The whorl is in very good condition with a cream patina and weighs 49.37grams. The whorl is very finely cast and has a central void, 10mm in diameter. One side is decorated with raised lines arranged at angles, similar to runic script, whilst the other has a pattern formed of groups of raised dots seperated by raised straight lines.

It is in the form of a pyramid with one face slightly longer than the rest, which gives it an elongated shape. It is plain and has the remains of a rough suspsension hole pushed through its surface just below its tip. Its underside has a rectangular area which is recessed and each corner has been chamferred.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 47mm high and 35mm wide. The ampulla is in good condition with a beige patina. It is circular with a short neck and has both side lugs, which are 10mm long, intact. One side is decorated with a scallop shell design, the other has a lombardic T which is crowned. This symbol would suggest St Thomas Becket of Canterbury and a date of 1300-1500.

The object has been very crudely cast and has an uneven lip around each outer edge. It has a central hole, 10mm in diameter and this is surrounded by a series of raised circles on one face, whilst the other appears to have a random series of raised lines. This side also has the Initials H O picked out in raised Roman lettering, which suggests a later date.

The object appears to be copying a Georgian coin and has a right facing bust of Georg I and the inscription GEORGIVS REX. There is also part of a 'milled' border showing. The reverse of the object is plain and slightly concave. A token or possibly a seal is the best explaination for the object.
