Post medieval iron spearhead or pike blade? Length: 1200 mm, width: 29 mm, thickness: 25 mm, weight: 178.00 g The object has a triangular form and a lozenge shaped sub rectangular cross section, which becomes circular near its base. It tapers in width slightly to a point and has a prominent ridge running down the centre of each blade. At its base there is a circular opening which has a small circular hole in one side just above its damaged edge, so it appears intact in length. Medieval or Post medieval iron buckle, 39mm in length, 20mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 1.9grams. The buckle has a D shaped frame with a circular cross section. It has a central bar containing a pin and a triangular plate folded onto the bar, which has a circular loop at its apex. The objects form could give it a medieval date but its iron construction and condition suggest a later post medieval one.
