Palaeolithic flint hand axe, 61mm long, 48mm wide and 18mm thick. The axe is in good condition and made from brown flint, with some re-cortication, and weighs 51.26 grams.
The axe is bi-facially worked and has a plano-convex cross section. It has a scraper edge, a damaged cutting edge and a curved chopping edge.
Dr Kevin Leahy writes: this object appears to be a Middle Palaeolithic 'bout coupe'' handaxe and is therefore of some interest.

Paleolithic flint burin, 45mm long and 13mm wide and 4mm thick. The object has a grey patina and weighs 2.84grams. It is largely rectangular in form and produced using a secondary flake with working on the upper face. It has been shaped at one end with a few careful strikes to produce a diagonally positioned edge with a sharp pointed projection at its upper edge.
